Designed and Fitted by One Engineer
Every installation starts with a proper design: room-by-room heat loss, pipe or cable layout, and the right choice between a wet or electric system for your floor build-up. The engineer who does that design is the same person who fits the system, pressure-tests it, and commissions it — so nothing gets lost between drawing and floor.
Wet Underfloor Heating
Wet systems circulate warm water through pipework laid in or over the floor, fed from your boiler or heat pump via a manifold. They suit larger areas, whole-house installs, new builds and extensions where the floor build-up can be planned in from the start. Run at lower water temperatures than radiators, they pair especially well with heat pumps and modern condensing boilers.
Electric Underfloor Heating
Electric systems use heating cables or mats controlled by a thermostat. With almost no height build-up, they're usually the better fit for single rooms, bathrooms, and retrofits where digging out the floor isn't an option.

Installation FAQs
Can underfloor heating be retrofitted into an existing floor?
Yes, in most cases. Low-profile wet systems and electric mats can both be retrofitted depending on the existing floor build-up and how much height can be given up. A site visit confirms what's realistic for your floor.
How long does an installation take?
It depends on the size and number of rooms and whether it's a new build, extension, or retrofit. A single-room retrofit is typically much quicker than a whole-house system. We give a time estimate as part of every quote.
Will underfloor heating work with my boiler?
Most modern boilers and heat pumps can run a wet underfloor heating system, usually via a manifold with blending valves to get the water temperature right for the floor. We check compatibility as part of the design.
